A phone call came out of the blue when I was beside myself trying to figure out how I was going to manage a situation that had just occurred in my Uncle Lynwood’s life, life-changing for him and potentially life-disrupting for me and my family. The phone call was from Dianne, a friend of my Uncle. His health condition had taken a dramatic turn for the worse. He was 96 years old and could no longer manage without either obtaining full time healthcare in his New York City apartment or moving to a managed health care facility. It was determined that he only had a few months to live and he made it clear that he wanted to remain in his home for this time. I live in Macon, Georgia and was the sole heir and executor for the estate. The problems of how I would ensure proper healthcare for him and get maximum asset value for the estate were overwhelming. Dianne's explanation of what her company could do in this situation gave me complete confidence that I had someone to assist me with all of the issues surrounding my Uncle’s situation. I hired her to take care of everything from his healthcare needs to selling his apartment and disposing of its contents.
She delivered an outstanding performance in all aspects of the job. I highly recommend her to anyone who has the responsibility of caring for the needs of an elderly or sick relative or friend. Her comprehensive analysis, planning and executing of our plan from start to finish allowed me to continue my life seamlessly in Macon, Georgia with my husband, three high school children and a full time job. Dianne gave me complete peace of mind.

My mother asked me to be the executor of her will. She lived in New York and I live in Chicago, so it wasn't the most convenient arrangement. But she was my mother, so I agreed, wondering how I was going to take care of her business from afar. It wasn't feasible for me to come to New York for an extended period, nor to make frequent trips there. Because she had been a woman of means, there were many items of value to dispose of, in addition to the usual family memorabilia
Enter Dianne. She knew my mother because she was the president of my mother's coop association. She was kind enough to have looked in on her often late in her life. I met Dianne once on a visit to New York, and she told me to call her any time if I had questions about my mother.
When my mother passed away, Dianne came forward to offer her services. It turned out that she is a licensed real estate broker, with a number of sales in my mother's building to her credit. She also had many contacts to help dispose of my mother's belongings and prepare her apartment for sale: art galleries, jewelers, auction houses, book dealers, charities, photographers, and building maintenance people. Here's what I would say about my experience working with her:
1. She is extremely pleasant and easy to work with.
2. She is prompt, efficient, proactive, and super-organized.
3. She is resourceful and imaginative. Whatever the need, she has a solution.
3. She is scrupulously honest and I had no problem entrusting valuables like jewelry to her.
4. She really does have a wealth of knowledge about appropriate resources. Case in point, she got me a much better price for the jewelry than I had found on my own.
5. As a real estate broker, she found me an immediate buyer, and the apartment was under contract before it could even be listed. She even recruited one of her daughters, an interior architect, to stage the apartment in preparation for sale.
So I would recommend Dianne without reservation. She made the process of liquidating my mother's apartment virtually stress free. If I had been in New York to manage the process myself, I wouldn't have been nearly as effective as she was. And I really did enjoy dealing with her.

Commencing in 2012 I had undergone treatments for several cancers before I met Dianne DeWitt in October, 2018. At that time I was in the middle of immunotherapy for Stage IV melanoma located in my thoracic cavity which was complicated by auto-immune side effects. I immediately enlisted her help as a medical advocate and coordinator for the team of doctors of various specialties for which such coordination is essential.
Very quickly and effectively Dianne took charge of my large multidisciplinary treatment team with excellent results. Since we met she has accompanied me to all my medical appointments, including infusions, scans, other tests and biopsies. She contributes to the conversation during these sessions and follows up with questions and notes.
The senior medical professionals involved have welcomed her engagement and have strong compliments on her contribution and her overall positive impact on my case.
Dianne has leveraged her sensitive and caring nature with management skills she honed in her successful career as a senior corporate executive.
I have asked my attorney to have her designated as my permanent healthcare proxy. She has become an invaluable resource for me.
